Development of cargo carriers

Compartmentalized systems to deliver morphogenetic factors

Project leader: N. Bruns

Amphiphilic block copolymers can self-assemble into vesicles, so-called polymersomes, which represent a versatile nanoscale delivery platform for peptidic drugs and signaling agents. The goal of this project is to develop stimuli-responsive polymersomes that can package and deliver key morphogenetic factors to developing organoids growing on a chip in spatio-temporally controlled and in vivo-like manner.
