Open Science

Open Science is an umbrella term for a movement to make scientific research, the data, and their dissemination available to everyone, from professionals to citizens. The aim of this broad concept is to improve the quality and accessibility of research and to increase the opportunities for research collaborations.

Open science promotes free access to research publications (Open Access) as well as to research-related resources, such as data (Open Research Data), methods and metadata.
