The Adolphe Merkle Institute, the NCCR Bio-Inspired Materials, and the University of Fribourg will host the Falling Walls Lab Fribourg. Falling Walls Lab is a world-class pitch competition, networking forum, and stepping stone that brings together a diverse and interdisciplinary pool of students and early-career professionals by providing a stage for global and local breakthrough ideas.
At the Falling Walls Lab Fribourg, students and early career professionals have 3 minutes to convince with an innovative and breakthrough idea their peers, a high-caliber jury, and the general public.
The first-place winner of the Lab qualifies for the global finale in Berlin on November 7 and wins a ticket (including traveling and accommodation) to attend the Falling Walls Science Summit, where they can interact and network with the world’s movers and shakers of science, business, and policymaking.
